*bonus item* John sings solemn benediction...sorta.
I was singing this while washing dishes, I figured I'd record it. It's the music and the prayers used at my parish for Solemn Benediction. It's not my best recording, but it's far from my worst (think karaoke).

I have to ask...what happened to the versicle and response and collect...and the Assumption petition from the Divine Praises? Nice job.
They should have been there. To sing it, (and to ensure I didn't slip up on anything) I pulled out an old Catholic hymnal (St. Basil's Hymnal). The V&R, along with Collect, weren't in there.
After I recorded it, I realised it should have been there. But then, I realised that there were a lot of great WWII shows on the tele, and got back to having my Day of Rest™. =)
